With his 1964 comeback following a three year break form performing, Ahmad Jamal resumed touring favoring trios recording a new album "Extensions" featuring Jamil Nasser (aka Jamil Sulieman) in 1965.
Nasser and Jamal parted ways in 1972, when the bassist left the group and took a job playing with bebop pianist Al Haig.
That's how we grow.
