Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Originally recorded for his 1962 album “Go,” “Cheese Cake” is part of what would be a very critically acclaimed album.

During Philadelphia native Gordon's four-decade career, he became key in putting the dialogue of bebop to the tenor saxophone. Six years after this performance he would claim a Grammy and be entered into the French Order of Arts and Letters.
