Here's some documentary footage of Dexter Gordon practicing and performing in Copenhagen, Denmark, 1971.

As a teenager Dexter Gordon played saxophone alongside Illinois Jacquet in Lionel Hampton's band. After experiencing life as an African-American musician Gordon found true freedom from the shackles of artist and racial oppression in 1960s Europe.
