Eddy Louiss was born on May 2nd, in Paris, France.
From 1961 to 1963, he worked as a vocalist in the French group Les Double Six.
Louiss appeared on the Stan Getz album Dynasty (1971) alongside two other French musicians: guitarist René Thomas and drummer Bernard Lubat.
His career as an organist, which spanned from the 1960s until his passing in 2015, was primarily comprised of leading his own group. Perhaps his most famous album is a 1994 collaboration with the pianist Michel Petrucciani.
