Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

London, 1964

Written in 1931 by Will Jason and Val Burton, this song's first appearance was in a 1933 Betty Boop cartoon. Almost 20 years later Nat King Cole would do his own rendition.

Pittsburgh native Erroll Garner was remarkable for his ability to teach himself piano skills skills that would bring him into collaboration with luminaries like Ahmad Jamal and Billy Strayhorn.
