Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Composed in 1931 by Einar Aaron Swan, “When Your Lover Has Gone” would become a jazz standard after James Cagney knocked it out of the ballpark in the movie “Blonde Crazy.” It's been performed by jazz luminaries such as Sonny Rollins, Julie London, Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong.

This performance is from 1962.
