Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Talented organist Joey DeFrancesco was offred a position in Miles Davis' band when he was only seventeen.

He toured Europe and worked with John McLaughlin gaining popularity in the 1990s.

DeFrancesco paid homage to his mentor Jimmy Smith with the 1999 High Note release "The Champ."
