In 1968, at 25, Indiana native Gary Burton was the youngest person ever to be named Down Beat magazine's 'Jazzman of the Year.” He has spent three decades teaching at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass.
In the past he has collaborated with guitarist John Scofield, guitarist B.B. King, pianist Herbie Hancock, guitarist Pat Metheny and guitarist Keith Jarrett.
