Bassist Bob Cranshaw discusses Lee Morgan's legacy as one of jazz's most important trumpeters. The clip features archival footage of Morgan from the mid-1960s.

Cranshaw played on Lee Morgan's 1964 album "The Sidewinder," whose title track quickly became a jazz standard and a runaway success on the Billboard chart. The album is one of Morgan's many stellar recordings and a staple of the hard bop and soul jazz genres.
