Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Dave's Magic Carpet Ride


In this footage of the "Dave Brubeck Quartet" taken from the first broadcast of television show "The Lively Ones" which aired on July 25, 1962, the Quartet is shown riding a magic carpet over a freeway in Los Angeles.

The groups members are as follows: Dave Brubeck on piano, Paul Desmond on saxophone, Eugene Wright on bass, and Joe Morello drums.
