Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Beboppin' Lover Man

In this film clip recorded in a little restaurant in Amersfoort, Holland in 1959 by the KRO broadcasting company, Rahsaan Roland Kirk performs "Lover Man" with the trio of Swiss pianist George Gruntz.

Written in 1941 by Jimmy Davis, James Sherman and Roger Ramirez, “Lover Man” has since entered the Grammy Hall of Fame. It's popularly connected to Billie Holiday's career.
