Jazz on the Tube needs you

"Back to School" fundraiser

Our labor of love costs real money, about $1,500 a month in out-of-pocket expenses...

And that doesn't count the time put into sourcing videos, writing them up, and maintaining the world's biggest and most accurate database of jazz festivals, jazz clubs, jazz radio and jazz education on the Internet.

This "Back to School" season please consider becoming a Friend of Jazz on the Tube.

Support Jazz on the Tube

Thanks for all your support in all the forms it takes!

About this video:

Rhoda Scott and Barbara Dennerlein take the blues to a new realm with "Nova."  This impromptu performance took place in Switzerland in 2002 at the Bern Jazz Festival, bringing together two legends of the Hammond B3 Organ - the 5 time Downbeat Critics Poll Winner Barbara Dennerlein and the great Soul Jazz artist Rhoda Scott, a.k.a. "Barefoot Lady" - called a very great virtuoso by Arthur Rubinstein.
