DOMi, Domitille Degalle (born March 2, 2000), grew up in France and was a music prodigy from the get-go. She started with a rigorous, traditional conservatory training.
JD Beck, James Dennis Beck (born May 3, 2003), grew up in Dallas and was discovered at a jazz session when he was 11 and was nurtured by the local Dallas jazz scene.
I’m afraid I don’t know who the drummer, the bass, and sax player are. I suspect this is from when DOMi was a teenager at Berklee before she adopted her stage persona and joined up with JD Beck.
The two met at a 2018 NAMM trade show and a jam that night sparked their partnership. JD was 15, and DOMi was 18. Jazz lives.
They have since been thoroughly discovered.
