While touring Europe in 1965 the "Jazz Messengers" appeared live on the BBC preforming the title cut form their 1963 LP release. Composed by trombonist Curtis Fuller, the six man in Blakey's group from 1961 to 1965, "Buhaina's Delight" has become a bop classic.

"Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers" are featured on a 1965 episode of the British jazz TV series "Jazz 625".
