Grupa Mocarta is a very different type of string quartet from Poland, one that can play classical music quite well but also engages in accessible comedy.

At a concert with the remarkable singer Bobby McFerrin, Grupa Mocarta delights him with their brand of comedy which includes a bit of classical music, some yodeling, an extroverted folk song, and having the singer hold and finger a violin while the violinist bows it on a song.

This fun film clip concludes with McFerrin singing a few wordless choruses of “One Note Samba” with the string quartet.
