It was 1971 and the year that Ben Webster would rejoin Duke Ellington for a few sessions. In his earlier years, when he first joined Ellington's orchestra, Webster could already count legendary Ellington soloist Johnny Hodges as one of his chief influences.

Charlie Shavers was a trumper who would become famous jamming with Billie Holiday, Ellington and Roy Eldridge.

Personnel:

Ben Webster, tenor sax
Charlie Shavers, trumpet
Niels Henning Orsted Pedersen, bass
Niels Jurgen Steen, piano
Finn Ziegler, violin
Jorn Elniff, drums
