Translating to “It's So Good,” “C'est si bon” remains a very popular song in France. Composed in the late '40s by Henri Betti, the song was a creative product of a walk along Avenue Jean Médecin in the French city of Nice.
This is perhaps the best known of Eartha Kitt's catalogue – right alongside “Santa Baby.” Her considerable inflection talents would later be put to a substantially different purposes as an actor on '60s “Batman” and in a Disney animated film.
