Maceo Parker is a saxophonist whose music in deeply rooted in funk and soul.

He was the prominent soloist on many of James Brown's 1960s recordings.

During the '70s he was a strong presence in George Clinton's "Parliament-Funkadelic."

Maceo has been touring internationally under his own name since the early '90s.
