Where it all started...
A teenage prodigy on the guitar, Metheny was offered and took a teaching assistantship at the Berklee College of Music with jazz vibraphonist Gary Burton.
Metheny joined Gary Burton's band in 1975.
This important music relationship was revived recently and this clip is an artifact of that experience.
