Massachusetts native Chick Corea began his professional life playing with Cab Calloway. By the '60s he was performing with Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughan – before going on to play with Miles Davis. Corea would take part in the legendary Isle of Wight performance in 1970.
Although this track comes from Duke Ellington, Corea can do it all – from classical music from the mind of Mozart to highly experimental fusion. He has won nine Grammys.
