Jazz on the Tube needs you

Our labor of love costs real money, about $1,500 a month in out-of-pocket expenses...

And that doesn't count the time put into sourcing videos, writing them up, and maintaining the world's biggest and most accurate database of jazz festivals, jazz clubs, jazz radio and jazz education on the Internet.

This July 4th consider becoming a Friend of Jazz on the Tube.

Support Jazz on the Tube

Thanks for all your support in all the forms it takes!

Orson Welles: The World's Most Exciting Woman

Translating to “It's So Good,” “C'est si bon” remains a very popular song in France. Composed in the late '40s by Henri Betti, the song was a creative product of a walk along Avenue Jean Médecin in the French city of Nice.

This is perhaps the best known of Eartha Kitt's catalogue – right alongside “Santa Baby.” Her considerable inflection talents would later be put to a substantially different purposes as an actor on '60s “Batman” and in a Disney animated film.
