Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

A first?

Filmed during a live concert in the 1960s.

I wish I knew the circumstances or how these three giants happened to come together on one stage at one time. (It had to be a first.)

But there they are:

Max Roach - The drummer of choice for Charlie Parker and the Bebop Revolution
Art Blakey- Master drummer, master musician
Elvin Jones - The drums beneath the Coltrane explosion
