Brazilian trumpet player Barrosinho was one of the founders of Banda Black Rio. This performance of "Farol de Sao Tome" was recorded recorded live on "Jo Soares" (comparable to the David Letterman TV show in Brazil) on July 2007 with the Maracatamba Band.

Maracatamba is a cross between maracatu and samba and was invented by Barrosinho. A very Brazilian post bebop.
