Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

Written by Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock

Written in 1985 by Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock for the “Round Midnight” film soundtrack, “Chan's Song” was just one of many tracks to feature jazz greats. The album also featured Freddie Hubbard, Chet Baker, Wayne Shorter, Bobby McFerrin and Cedar Walton.

Hancock won the “Best Original Score” Academy Award for the collaborative soundtrack.
