The second single from her second album “My One and Only Thrill,” Melody Gardot's “Baby I'm a Fool” reached eight on the Japanese charts. It reached five on the Swedish charts.
The song is about a couple who are too frightened to admit that they're in love. However the two share a secret. They have the air of being grizzled by romance. This, like most of Gardot's song, is about love.
