Why were we "off the air" for eight hours Thursday?

We're back up and running and I wish I could tell you what happened, but I don't know. However, I do know we'll be getting a bill from my programmer for putting things right.

If anyone feels inclined to chip in and help with this extraordinary expense (about two weeks net revenue up in smoke), we'd appreciate it. Every little bit helps a lot.

About this video:

This was shot at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans in 2004.

No award for cinematography, but whoever shot it caught some seriously rocking music.

I'm not going to say that every day in New Orleans is like this, but I can say that days like this are common.

In New Orleans, the music is PARTICIPATORY. That's how they roll and if you tried to count all the great players down here, you'd break 100 without breaking a sweat.

Jazz lives...especially in New Orleans. Come and see for yourself.

Please share your favorite JazzontheTube.com videos with your friends and colleagues
