Poland - 1998

Pharoah Sanders' Quartet perform in Poland at the "Poznan Jazz Fair" in 1998.

Pharoah Sanders, tenor sax & vocals
William Henderson, piano, keyboards, African talking drums
Santi Debriano, bass
Winard Harper, drums

Free jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders began to experiment with African rhythms during the early '70s.

By the end of the decade as his particular style continued to decline in popularity he further diversified his sound, branching out into R&B and hard bop.
