Belgium, 1958

Dizzy Gillespie performs with Sonny Stitt in Belgium in 1958.

Dizzy Gillespie, trumpet
Sonny Stitt, tenor sax
Lou Levy, piano
Ray Brown, bass
Gus Johnson, drums

Dizz and Sonny take something old to make something new altering lyrics and timing, with an added flood of improvisation.

The song written by Jimmy McHugh with lyrics by Dorothy Fields in 1930, was first introduced on Broadway that year in the musical "Lew Leslie's International Revue."
