I don’t know if Sara Roahen can swing a hammer, but she sure has a way with words and food and her new book “Gumbo Tales” is a big contribution to rebuilding New Orleans’ culture and sharing it with the rest of the world.
The book is excellent: entertaining, thorough, appetite-inspiring.
