It’s that time of year again.

Last year, I missed it because I got caught in a white-out blizzard in upstate New York. Not only didn’t planes fly, I couldn’t even get my car down the street the snow was falling so thick.

So this year, I decided to get here early – like December. I’m not going to miss it again.

New York City has the biggest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the world, but in New Orleans, they do it right. Multiple parades, on multiple days (starting tonight), massive block parties and they throw cabbages, potatoes, carrots and onions from the floats so you can make your own stew.
