Support live music – even when it’s streamed!
A New York based singer, composer and educator who is blessed with a beautiful voice, Aubrey Johnson has worked in her career with such notables as Janis Siegel, Fred Hersch, Sara Serpa, Bobby McFerrin and John Zorn among others.
Ms. Johnson, whose debut CD as a leader (Unrivaled) came out in late-2019, is featured on this LiveStream singing and accompanying herself on piano.
She performs a few consistently haunting original ballads, “Easy To Love” (which contains some memorable high notes), and a few rousing numbers.
Aubrey Johnson is a singer well worth discovering.
